Distributed Client Tracker in Manet
نویسندگان
چکیده
Mobile adhoc networks (MANETs) are ideal for situations where a fixed infrastructure is unavailable or infeasible. This limitation makes MANETs unsuitable for applications such as crisis management and battlefield communications. In battlefield team members might need to work in groups or scattered in the terrain. In such terrain, intergroup communication is crucial to the team collaboration. To address this weakness, I introduce in this paper a new class of adhoc network called SAODV. Unlike conventional networks, SAODV protocol is used for the clients in the terrain, and organizing themselves into a suitable network topology to ensure good connectivity for both intraand intergroup communications. I propose a distributed client tracking solution to deal with the dynamic nature of client mobility and present techniques for dynamic topology adaptation in accordance with the mobility pattern of the clients. Simulation results indicate that AMMNET is robust against network partitioning and capable of providing high relay throughput for the mobile clients.

A membership management protocol for peer-to-peer services in MANET
MANETs are self-organizing networks composed of mobile wireless nodes with often scarce resources. Distributed applications based on the P2P paradigm are the best candidates to run over such networks. To profit from the service provided by a P2P overlay (e.g. file sharing using BitTorrent), a node needs to be permanently informed about the other members of the overlay (e.g. other peers interest...

We present an extension for variable length Markov models (VLMMs) to allow for modelling of continuous input data and show that the generative properties of these VLMMs are a powerful tool for dealing with real world tracking issues. We explore methods for addressing the temporal correspondence problem in the context of a practical hand tracker, which is essential to support expectation in task...

—Advances in device miniaturization and wireless technologies are stimulating novel kinds of networks (Mobile Ad hoc NETworks-MANET) capable of autonomous peer-to-peer organization without the need of a statically deployed support infrastructure. MANET are specifically characterized by high mobility of network nodes and frequent changes of direct visibility. High dynamicity affects the design a...

متن کاملA Novel Method for VANET Improvement using Cloud Computing
In this paper, we present a novel algorithm for VANET using cloud computing. We accomplish processing, routing and traffic control in a centralized and parallel way by adding one or more server to the network. Each car or node is considered a Client, in such a manner that routing, traffic control, getting information from client and data processing and storing are performed by one or more serve...
